We ate at Carver’s on Sunday night. We have never eaten there as we thought they had a dress code. We were pleasantly surprised to see people in shorts.
We had steak, which tasted good, but was a little tough. The salad and sides were wonderful! The dessert was average.
I have been to Carver’s numerous times. I have never had a bad meal there and neither have those in my party. Our group usually have a selection of chicken, steak and fish.
Carol, Maybe give Carvers a second chance sometime. I’ve ate there several times and never had anything less than excellent food. Just a thought.
ive been going to carver since the day it opened! always good! best app in town is their calamari! hands down!, spinich salad is “right on” good steaks, generous drinks, wine list NOT overoriced, solid value~ bet bar in dayton on thursday nites!
I have eaten at Boosalis, Sweeneys and Amelia’s this week. None of them provided us with surveys.
All the food was great, but Amelia’s edged out over Sweeney’s. Sweeney’s had super fast service (beware the peanut butter pie is good but not for $7) and Boosalis always has great sandwiches and baked goods.
